We Did It! Experiences · DreamDrives.ai

We drove the Alpine Grand Tour. All of it. Twice up the Stelvio.

Six days, eleven passes, two founders, one rule: if we wouldn’t tell our own league to book it, it doesn’t get the story. This one gets the story. By Jason Deitch & Marco Della Cava, founders of DreamDrives.ai.

The founders’ verdict

Book it. The rare rally that’s run by people who love driving as much as the people paying for it — dawn starts on the famous passes, hotels you’d return to without the cars, and a group small enough to become friends by day three.

The story

Day 1–2

Into the Dolomites

We collected the cars above Cortina with the peaks doing their morning trick — pale rock turning rose-gold while the valley still sat in mist. The first pass came twenty minutes in and nobody reached for a phone. By the second hairpin the whole convoy had settled into the rally's rhythm: drive hard, stop for espresso, drive harder. Dinner that night was at a long table under the hotel lights, engines ticking cool in the gravel behind us.

Day 3–4

The Stelvio, both directions

Forty-eight hairpins up, forty-eight down, and the pass earns every one of its postcards. We climbed at dawn before the cyclists and tour buses, which is the only way to do it — the road to ourselves, the switchbacks stacking up like a staircase built for giants. Marco's verdict from the passenger seat: 'It's not a road, it's an argument the mountain lost.' We drove it twice. You would too.

Day 5–6

The long way home

The organizers saved the flowing roads for last — the passes that reward rhythm over bravery, through villages that waved the convoy through like a parade. One fuel stop turned into an impromptu car show for half the town. That's the thing nobody puts in the brochure: a great rally isn't just driving, it's being welcomed by every place the road touches.

“I’ve played our game every day for a year, calling prices on cars I’ll never own. This week I stopped calling and just drove. The Stelvio at dawn is the best argument I know for everything we’re building.”
Jason Deitch — Founder No. 1
“Jason talks about looking up. On these roads you have no choice — the next hairpin is always above you. Best week of driving of my life, and I’ve had some weeks.”
Marco Della Cava — Founder No. 2

The films & the photos

A hosted page carries the founders’ films from the road — on a real page these panels play the actual rally footage.

Night six: the fleet at rest, the long table set. Half the reason to book a rally is the evenings.

The next Alpine Grand Tour

September — pass season, when the high roads are open and the summer crowds are gone. Sample details for this mock page: six days, small group, cars provided, from €11,600 per couple. On a live page, every button below carries the sponsor’s tracking — the operator sees exactly which placement sent each registration.

Sample tracking links — they demonstrate the UTM shape a sponsor’s report is built from (source · placement · campaign), so every click on this page can be counted and attributed, honestly.

How readers find this page

Carly, your Lucky AI Carcierge

Players tell Carly what they’re dreaming of — a car, a drive, a rally — and she watches for it. When it appears, she sends the alert: what it is, where, when, the details that matter, the best price she found, and the link to the source — with the homework (comps, coverage, past reviews) already done. A sample alert:

Carly found a match for your Dream Drive watch

Alpine Grand Tour — September edition. Dolomites + Stelvio, 6 days, cars provided, small group. Best price found: the operator’s own early-booking rate. The founders drove this one — read their review before you book: you’re reading it.

Where a booking link earns Dream Drives a referral, Carly says so in plain words — and she always surfaces the best match first. Finding is the service; the ranking is never for sale.

Run a dream drive? This page could be yours.

This is a We Did It! page — the top of the Dream Drives sponsorship program. Invite the founders to experience your tour, and if it earns the story, this is what you receive: the dedicated page, the founders’ honest review, the films and photos, social coverage, and tracked registration links — sponsorship by application, always.

Disclosure, in plain words: a hosted experience is a material connection, and it is disclosed on the page and in every post — that honesty is what makes the review worth reading, and worth buying.
